Enigmatic PNG...

Posted @ 15:27

Ok, next problem of my website - the transparent PNG file. For some peculiar reason, my computer at home can display transparent PNG properly on IE. Some said it could be due to my laptop screen at a particular angle such that the problematic areas became out of focus. However, I've swung my screen through the entire possible angle range and the transparent PNG still displayed fine on IE.

Strange.....!?

what the?? who the hell suggested that your laptop screen can make ie display png alpha transparent images? whatever they're smoking, i want some too!

anyway, you don't happen to be using ie7 beta at home, are you?

also, there is a secret to displaying png trans images in IE that only works if you have directx installed. it could be possible that blogger is adding code that fixes it for you. there's some javascript that does it, you see it in the headers on my homepage. (pngfix.js)

could be that your work computer does not have directx and your home laptop does.
